Creative Director, editor and founder of art publications

Based between Abidjan and Paris, Alix for short, has founded, self published and directed art publications : OFF the wall (2013), woman paper (2016), SOMETHING WE AFRICANS GOT (2017) and PROFILES (2019).

In January 2022, she founded SOMETHING: a non profit art space dedicated to video, digital art and critical thinking; it is located in Blockhauss, a lively district of Abidjan.
A conversation between Wolfgang Tillmans and Simon Njami took place as pre-opening on January 18. The space was officially inaugurated on September 20 2022, with The Power Of My Hands - Afrique(s) artistes femmes - in collaboration with Musée d’Art Moderne
de Paris.

On the fashion side, Alix is consultant and Chief Creative Officer of ABY, Abidjan biggest concept store, for which she curates the brands, creates artistic collaborations and does the layout.
ABY promotes high-end African creations and only offers pieces made on the continent.
